DTF Transfer FAQs
❓ What is a DTF Transfer?
DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are printed using water-based inks onto a clear film. These transfers give you the flexibility to apply your design when and where you want — on virtually any fabric type or color. They support single-color and full-color images, making them perfect for custom apparel and more.
🔥 How to Apply Your DTF Transfer
Important: You must use a commercial-grade heat press.
Cricut presses and household irons won’t work — they don't provide the even, heavy pressure DTF requires.
✔️ Pressing Instructions:
- Pre-press your garment to remove moisture.
- Place the transfer face-up on the garment. Use a cover sheet.
- Press at: 300°F–330°F for 15 seconds
- Pressure: High (8–9 PSI)
- Peel: Immediately
- Optional: Repress for 5 seconds with cover sheet for extra durability.
🧼 Care Instructions
- Wash inside out on a cool cycle
- Hang dry or tumble dry on low/no heat
- Avoid high heat to keep your print vibrant and lasting longer.
